For those that dont know, we’ve been documenting the Story of Africville Nova Scotia for a few years exploring the effects of a community that was destroyed by the government in the late 60′s as well as the violations of human rights. check out our short doc STOLEN FROM AFRICVILLE. Basically, Im out here to gather some follow up footage regarding the topic of Reparations (since that is where we left off) A lot has changed since 2007 and now that some degree of Reparations have been offered; im curious to know that means to the community. stay tuned!
