Kalkidan Assefa is an aspiring artist based out of Toronto/Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Born in Ethiopia, immigrated to Canada in the late 80′s. Work in traditional painting, illustration, sketch, and graf.
A while back I randomly came across his work online, its funny how thing work out since I was already looking for designers to help develop conceptual t-shirt designs for “SFA Clothing” so I messaged him on facebook and it was wrap from there. This particular piece was inspired by the SFA slogan ” untold as the saga unfolds the mystery of my Scattered history” T-shirts will be available during African Heritage month 2010.
