Kahaniya is an international organization based out of Toronto, Canada that uses the arts as a medium to engage. We specifically use photography and film to document the narratives of women and children around the world, who do not always have the privilege to tangibly document their own testimonies. These powerful stories act as tools and have become workshops to further the understanding and dialogues communities can have when the idea of history is reflected not from a book, but from those who historically have been outside its pages.
